"Construction" deals with just one small area of Sheffield that we've seen change over the last 45 years. A microcosm of life where somehow, things never seem to change, until one day, you turn around and it’s gone.

From a buzzing hive of activity to a run-down forgotten area, the rot slowly crept in and was never fixed. Eventually, the footfall was gone.

Being haunted by the edge of the page, the next chapter, the regret and the desire of holding onto the past: this has always been fascinating. The music reflects those feelings. For better or for worse, it’s where we live.
